COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; special higher-strength version for the Wetherspoons Real Ale Festival October 2013. This rare beer has been brewed again, at a higher strength, exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It is a golden bitter, with the New Zealand hops used providing a fruity aroma and flavour, leading to a lingering, bitter finish. Hops used: Centennial, Pacific Gem, Perle

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Oct 2013 during Spoons Festival - Golden in colour. Quite Fruity; grapefruit and tropical fruits. Hoppy; piney and grassy hops. Malty backbone; toasty malts, light caramel. Moderately bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout. Decent.

Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, JDW - London. Pours clear, bright gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds orange, leaves, grapefruit, dirty grains. Light to medium sweet with ripe orange and pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more bready malts and ripened citrus fruits. So so.

Taste comprises citric fruits, straw, tangy hops presence, bitter orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Ok GB.

Cask handpull at Victoria Spoons. Clear gold lasting white head. Ok fullish golden syrup beer. After the Purity Longhorn this isn’t as good. Some fullness juiciness in the mouth and some drying grassy hop on the finish. Fine.

Cask at the moon under water Watford. Hazed orange pour with a thin lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice fruity froral hop with a citrus edge. Flavour follows. Some citrus floral hop. Wheat bread cereal flavour. Nice sessuonable summer beer.
