Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Copper with off white head. Heavily malted, grainy beer, sweetish, quite honeyed beer. Some bready notes but not vastly interesting.

Bottled. Lightly hazy amber, small head. Aroma of raspberries and old fat. Dryish with clean mouthfeel and light body. Apricots and old meat. Low bitterness.

Cask, Bell Inn, Caerleon. Dark amber with a smallish off-white head. Aroma was largely malt dominated as was the flavour . Vague fruity notes.
Tolerable but pretty drab. Better off with the cider at this venue. Food good too.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, moderate hoppy, earthy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
