Mar 3, 2008 Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Used penny copper, a bit of off-white bubbles. Caramel, sherry, blackberry aroma. Sweet brown sugar malt, almost enough hops for balance. Medium palate, clean finish.

Sep 4, 2007 Cask @ Far From the Madding crowd, Oxford. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Fruity malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty and hoppy caramel flavor. Long malty finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Aug 7, 2007 Pours a copper colour with some creamy white head. Slightly malty aroma, bitter taste with a little bit of sweetness in the finish. Not bad, but not particularly unique.
