500 ml bottle. BB 02/07/14. From Erzengel. Vielen Dank!
Dark reddish brown colour with a big foamy light tan head. Yeast, caramel sweetness, dry malt, wheat and toffee in the aroma. The flavour is yeast, wheat, chocolate, mild alcohol, bread and mild bitterness. Soft carbonation. Quite mediocre Dunkelweizen.

Not so nice, amber-like colored, cloudy beer. Yeasty aroma with some banana. Pretty boring taste, light sweetness. Medium body with a lively carbonation. A bit abrupt finish.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, brownish, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry, mild roasty notes. Some earthy hints. All in all quite mild, but so also quite drinkable. Not bad!

Can, 0.50l. Hazy amber brown color with large creamy tan-like head, fair lacing and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bread, banana, vegetables and even some smokiness. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, a bit toasted with caramel following and light bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Surprisingly good with rich aroma, but a bit too plain taste...

Can, Pours a dark brown-ruby like body, with a low frothy light brown head, that diminishes quickly, leaving a good lace. Very poor matly aroma, like the hefe counterpart, that only shows traces of yeast and caramel as the beer gets warmer. Light sweet taste, notes of yeast and caramel, but a bit watery and weak. Watery texture, average carbonation, light body. Only slight preferable to the valentins hefe.

(Test vom 22.2.2009) --> 12,10,12,10,12,10 - 10,60
