Can, Pours a dark brown-ruby like body, with a low frothy light brown head, that diminishes quickly, leaving a good lace. Very poor matly aroma, like the hefe counterpart, that only shows traces of yeast and caramel as the beer gets warmer. Light sweet taste, notes of yeast and caramel, but a bit watery and weak. Watery texture, average carbonation, light body. Only slight preferable to the valentins hefe.

(Test vom 22.2.2009) --> 12,10,12,10,12,10 - 10,60

Can from a supermarket in Rethymnon. Pours hazy dark ruby with a huge creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty, with yeast underneath. Taste is dark caramel, light yeasty with fruity notes, not bad, just a bit odd.

05/08 A 0.5 l can that poured hazy brownish body with medium to smaller head. Wheaty aroma, some banana, yeast but also caramel which was more pronounced in in sweetish flavor, where it was pleasantly blended with chalky and lightly fruity weizen notes. Fuller in body, rather cloying as these usually get with longer, smooth and sweetish finish with some acidity. Flavors seemed a bit plain, ordinary, but actually not a bad beer.

A very nice and special dunkel weissbier, with a taste that makes you want another beer, and another, and so on... A really pleasure

Pours copper brown, but cause my 0.5L can was "maturing" for month more, at the beginning was clear with beige, huge top, rocky, surprisingly no lacing at all, Taste - malty sweetish withlight touch of darker malt, toasted sour-bitter, plus light hopping bitter with short mild dry finish. @ later stages of sampling with more yeast peaces it becomes more astringent and dry on tongue. Medium body, a bit watery-floury texture. Overall - very drinkable, refreshing brew, except intensity of flavour could be more felt.
