Złote, mętne piwo o obwitą, puszystą ale szybko opadającą piana i przyjemnym, pszenicznym, lekko bananowym aromatem. W smaku trochę wodniste, lekko bananowe z goździkami i męczącą, metaliczną goryczką na finiszu.

Blonde bien voilée. Mousse blanche relativement persistante. Maltage bien présent genre pain, avec ensuite les typiques bananes et épices. Banane relativement peu présente pour une German Hefenweizen. En bouche très légère acidité et wheat levures, sinon inintéressante et plate. Très peu de carbonatation.

Hazy hazy grey golden. Near white great foam. Aroma; wheat malts, lemony hops, coriander, cinnamon, vanilla, batflower, ginger. Taste; wheat malts, lemon, yellow apple, dough, mandarine, ripe bananana, leading to a slight dry sticky finish with sweet white bread and notes of syrup. Normal body n feel. Alright, but very "limonade-ish". [50cl can 5.3% ?°, BB11122015 , B@ATB Kremenchuk UA]

My Bottom Line:
This very sweet and bready Hefeweizen does have some fruity esters to share, but even they are super ripe and feel heavy.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam covers the murky beige.
-Wheat is very present in the flavor profile, but feels limp instead of cracking.
-This drinks like liquefied banana bread mostly because of the residual sugars and lower-than-usual carbonation (for the style).
-This is probably the antithesis of the lively, complex and fragrant Weissbiers à la Weihenstephaner, for example.

Rien de bien extravagant mais fort agréable à déguster! Les agrumes et les céréales sont mises à l’avant-plan. Bonne mais moyenne...

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 0.5l poured in a chalice. I’ve paid $1 per bottle in a 6 pack. I’ve bought it at Denner Switzerland and, because of its low price, I was expecting a low quality beer. Fortunately, I was wrong. This is a quite fair Hefeweizen beer. A: Pours a hazy beige color with a foamy head. Reasonable carbonation. S: Malty smell is very present. The traditional bananas and cloves smell is quite discrete. T: Well balanced. Again, the malt prevails against the bananas/cloves M: Full body. Medium to low carbonation with quite pleasant malt taste. Low Hefeweizen bitterness D: Good drinkability. Fair Hefeweizen. Very welcomed in a summertime. [ BA Review @ 1/23/2010 ]
