Eructoblaster (3024) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2010
Bottle - 500ml. Hazy golden body with average carbonation and a thin white creamy/foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and orange hints. Taste is refreshing and well balanced. It carries yeasty notes and ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Average Weizen.

Looks good, smells good, but does not taste good. Tastes of pepper and acetone, I can not believe I just found a hefeweizen I didn’t like.

500ml can (Supermarket, Zurich)
Sweet, but slightly metallic aroma. Simple grainy palate, a bit papery. At least vaguely hefeweizen-like, but really not a good example at all. Thin.

500ml can Damn good canned hefeweizen. Plenty of candy banana, tropical fruit and clove. Creamy texture and good finish.

rakkasan (142) - Bresso, ITALY - OCT 26, 2009
bottle - Pours light, cloudy amber, with an off-white, fizzy frothy head that dissipated rather quickly. Yeasty and malty aroma, esters aren’t very accentuated only a slight bit of apple. Light biscuit flavor, only slightly fruity........the faintest hint of licorice towards the end. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Nothing to stand up and shout about but there are worse out there.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and wheat, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
