Can - Mild haze on golden-amber colour w/ mid white head. Light citric wheat aroma , bit plain underdeveloped, grainy malty finish.
Light/watery bodied. Soft ,silky character. Straight forward weizen.

My Bottom Line:
This very sweet and bready Hefeweizen does have some fruity esters to share, but even they are super ripe and feel heavy.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam covers the murky beige.
-Wheat is very present in the flavor profile, but feels limp instead of cracking.
-This drinks like liquefied banana bread mostly because of the residual sugars and lower-than-usual carbonation (for the style).
-This is probably the antithesis of the lively, complex and fragrant Weissbiers à la Weihenstephaner, for example.

Rien de bien extravagant mais fort agréable à déguster! Les agrumes et les céréales sont mises à l’avant-plan. Bonne mais moyenne...

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 0.5l poured in a chalice. I’ve paid $1 per bottle in a 6 pack.
I’ve bought it at Denner Switzerland and, because of its low price, I was expecting a low quality beer. Fortunately, I was wrong. This is a quite fair Hefeweizen beer.
A: Pours a hazy beige color with a foamy head. Reasonable carbonation.
S: Malty smell is very present. The traditional bananas and cloves smell is quite discrete.
T: Well balanced. Again, the malt prevails against the bananas/cloves
M: Full body. Medium to low carbonation with quite pleasant malt taste. Low Hefeweizen bitterness
D: Good drinkability. Fair Hefeweizen. Very welcomed in a summertime.

Cloudy orange color, medium sized white head. Grapefruit, banana and wheat aroma. Medium sweetness. Thin body, average carbonation. Watery finish. This is actually a great surprise. It is quite tasty for a price of less than 1 euro.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.5L can. Hazy yellow with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Typical banana, clove and citrus aromas, fairly pronounced. Mild sweetness at beginning, a bit watery in the middle, the finishes with a mild, dry yeast character and some of the malty sweetness. Light body with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, a decent weissbier, mouthfeel and aroma stand out in this, less so the flavor, but very quafable..
