0.5l poured in a chalice. I’ve paid $1 per bottle in a 6 pack. I’ve bought it at Denner Switzerland and, because of its low price, I was expecting a low quality beer. Fortunately, I was wrong. This is a quite fair Hefeweizen beer. A: Pours a hazy beige color with a foamy head. Reasonable carbonation. S: Malty smell is very present. The traditional bananas and cloves smell is quite discrete. T: Well balanced. Again, the malt prevails against the bananas/cloves M: Full body. Medium to low carbonation with quite pleasant malt taste. Low Hefeweizen bitterness D: Good drinkability. Fair Hefeweizen. Very welcomed in a summertime. [ BA Review @ 1/23/2010 ]

Cloudy orange color, medium sized white head. Grapefruit, banana and wheat aroma. Medium sweetness. Thin body, average carbonation. Watery finish. This is actually a great surprise. It is quite tasty for a price of less than 1 euro.

0.5L can. Hazy yellow with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Typical banana, clove and citrus aromas, fairly pronounced. Mild sweetness at beginning, a bit watery in the middle, the finishes with a mild, dry yeast character and some of the malty sweetness. Light body with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, a decent weissbier, mouthfeel and aroma stand out in this, less so the flavor, but very quafable..

500ml can from local store. Surprisingly cheap for an imported beer ($2 vs the usual $4-5). Pours a cloudy yellow with a big fluffy head that slowly fades away. Aroma is banana and butter. Taste is similar plus wheat. Good value.

Bought a 0.5 can in a Tommy supermarket in Zagreb. Murky dark yellow with kind of strong white head. Strong aroma of banana muffins, a bit watery but pleasantly sweet, even leaving some aftertaste. Goes away to quickly, nothing special, but at least it’s cheap.
