Our Story
The desire to fly has propelled man forward into horizons both wonderful and terrifying. Most terrifying of all is the first attempt at liftoff. All of the effort put into this machine is tested at this time. Either the plane will soar or it will crash. A risky business, sure, but a risk you have to take if you want to achieve greatness.

First Flight is our foray into the world of big beers. It is the first of many such brave and bold attempts. May this beer inspire you to look for the Valiant in your life!

Tasting Notes First Flight has a slight herbal aroma that we have combined with light coconut, vanilla and mild caramel high lights. There is a malty sweetness followed by a developing bready sweet flavor. Hints of complex caramel flavors come across that finish out with the brute bitterness. After taking a sip, the clean finish allows the alcohol to develop, giving you that warming feeling. Mild carbonation helps provide the palate with a low mouthfeel thus more flavor.

Pours a semi hazy darker copper minimal head. Aroma is white chocolate and Vanilla. Taste follows the Aroma well with a cinnamon note. This beer is very complex and my taste buds are not that complex. Its a Sweet beer. This is a amazing beer people!!

7 June 2013, tap at the brewery. Gold, clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is golden syrup, moderate alcohol, some wet bread. Med, syrupy body and mildly fizzy. Reminds me of a warming brandy (the feeling, not the flavor). A bit oaky, sweet golden syrup, a spice or something I can't place. Fun and interesting. My favorite! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
