Draft at the brewpub. I am just guessing at this, the last rating was in 05, but this was a "special brew" and it was a porter, and this being Valley Brewing’s only porter so... correct me if I’m wrong putting it here. Dark brown pour, thin but creamy light tan head. Roasted malt, lightly smoky, chocolate, grain, and a small amount of bitter hops. I enjoyed it.

This is what I would expect the original porters to have been like. Dark brown body with a nice Roasted caramel and nuts aspect. Mild toffee and vanilla notes. Very clean and soft round mouthfeel, with aneven cleaner finish.
