COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest Summer Ale, Decadence 6 is what happened when you merge a Czech Pilsner recipe with a Belgian yeast strain and throw in a little Central Valley attitude. Decadence 6 pours a brilliant golden color with plenty of upfront hop bitterness but a long clean finish and a wonderful hop aroma. 6.0% Alc. by Vol.

Pours hazy amber with a light white head. The aroma has light sourness, banana esters, apricot and peach. Medium body thatís fairly crisp with fairly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with spicy hops, some fruit, bit of wax, apricot, peach, and grapefruit - fairly hoppy. The finish is dry with pine and grapefruit. Nice beer. Thanks to Plaleslu or xmarcnolanx - canít remember who supplied this one.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/7/10. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma is thin and lager-like. Flavor is pilsner-ish in that itís very light and crisp without much sweetness, yet it has a bit of Belgian yeast in the finish.
