Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a nice white bubbly head. Wheaty aroma with some bold spice in the background. Strong wheat flavor with some malt mixed in as well. Sweet. Pretty good wheat. Complex.

Hazy golden coloured body with a white head and a nice amount of bubbles. Aroma of hay, wheat and a bunch of dry coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie flavour with a lot of curacao and sweetness and a good dry character. Aftertaste is very nice with a cool, dry character showing a touch of sweetness on the finish. Overall, a nice wit with good characteristics and a surprising complexity. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Draeger’s Blackhawk in Danville, California on 18-March-2011 sampled in Danville, California.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, lemon, and peaches. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and peaches.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy gold pour, white head. Sweet malt, wheat, spice, lemon, and orange. Very drinkable, but I didn’t like it very much.

Cloudy golden with a large white head. Yeasty aroma with fruity and malty notes. Sweet and yeasty flavour with wheat and fruity hints.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Spicy, fruity aroma with pepper and cardemom. Dry and spicy flavour with some bread crust notes.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a tiny white head. Aromas are orange, coriander and wheat. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Flavor is wheaty, with a little citrus and spice. Finishes kind of bitter.

From a 22-oz bottle. Poured golden orange with a medium white head. Medium lacing. Nose shows a lot of coriander and wheat. Medium body. Flavor is complex for a wheat beer with a mixture of citrus---orange, lemon, grapefruit. Dry bitter finish.

My Bottom Line:
Expressive coriander and orange peel whip up a classic Witbier character while citrusy melodies increase an already refreshing flavour profile.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy golden.
-The intensity of the perfume is greater than your typical example of the style.
-The body is well sculpted and might be a tad chewier than the usual Witbier’s.
-Carbonation may be a bit softer as well.
