COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mutha-Pucka is a 3 year old Pomegranate Lambic-style wild ale we produced using our local hand harvested pomegranates and a base beer which was a Belgian Golden Strong ale. Brettanomyeces Lambicus was added to the fermenter along with local wild organisms. Each year a portion of the batch is released and the remaining "Mother" sour is reserved and fresh pomegranate juice is added to restart the process.

RBSG ’08: Growler pour. Poured a clear amber color with an off-white head. Big time sour. Both the aroma and flavor. Citrus tart and fairly acidic in the throat. It smells like the toy magic bubble that comes out of the tube and you roll it into a ball at which point you put it on the end of a small straw and blow a bubble out of it. Smells like that. Yummy memories. If you think the more sour and burn-y the better then this is for you...and me.

I’ve had this stuff a couple times, and it does improve each time I have it. Finlally Steve puts it on as a standard just in time for RBSG. Beautiful ruby ruddy brown pour. The nose is like Sex Panther. "Quite pungent. Stings the nostrils." You almost get that kind of light headedness from smelling it, like a fat tipped felt marker. On to the flavor- I’d say WOW if I could catch my breath to then release it in an exhale. As it evolves from sour to more sour, and finally finishes on an even sourer note, (is sourer a word?) if you wait about 10 seconds you get a very nice, smooth, oak and roasted almond finish. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Growler @ RBSG grand tasting brought by AgentSteve. This stuff is like paint thinner and nail polisher remover carbonated. Pours copper/ amber with not much of head. Nose is like rubbing alcohol. Taste is tart and fucking insanly big.

Growler via AgentSteve at RBSG 08. Sour. smells like floor cleaner. I think my nose hairs caught fire. Lots and lots of acetic sour, much like a tasty salad dressing. Painful, and yet excellent. I love it.
