DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 5, 2005 Draft at the brewpub. Solid copper, with malt, caramel, toffee. Smooth finish with a brown sugar element at culmination. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 21, 2004 On tap at the Valley Forge Brew Pub. Poured a medium to dark orange/amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of malts and caramel. Lightly sweet. Light hops. chronictonic (360), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2003 Like many other VFBC beers, there's nothing wrong with this brew - it's just that there's nothing remarkable about it either. Classic Oktoberfest burnt orange color, mildly sweet malt flavor with a nice nut finish. Hop profile was present, but, subtle. IMHO, they need to crank up the "flavor" volume on this brew. michael-pollack (1465), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 6, 2002 obxdude10 (1390), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 19, 2002 Deep copper in color, didn’t keep all that great of a head, a bit bland & watery, I’ve certainly had better marzen-style brews
