Bottle. Pours clear deep golden with a medium white head. The aroma is malty and light fruity hoppy. The flavor is bitter malty and grassy hoppy. Malty finish.

0,5L bottle.Strong grainy, malt, hop aroma. Good and different strong tastes makes this beer enjoyable. Little sweet caramel comes on midle. Very pleasurable. Finish is nice soft and tiny bitter. Drinkable south nabers beer.

Big white head. Deep yellow body with strong carbonation. Strawy toffee aroma with spicy fruity notes. Sweetish-dry spicy fruity dusty taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy dusty strawy aftertaste with spicy notes. Very nice, highly drinkable, unusual, though recognizably a pale lager. So nice, in fact, the memory of this beer stayed with me for days. (0.5l draft at Red Fred, Riga.)

Light, yeasty, palate-cleansing beer with good balance of "live" hops, clean malt, etc. Not too-too much going on but a great session lager. Not officially available on the menu, have to ask!

Bottle @ Porins, Liepaja. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, heavy butter, sourness. Flavor is malt, caramel, butter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Awfull. 060313

Clear golden with medium to thin off white head. Quite OK duration. Aroma.. mostly malts, decent hops, bread, bit grassy Semi sweet with OK bitter finish. Quite decent Latvian beer but nothing special

0.5 l bottle from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Non-pasteurized beer with all the taste left in it. Nice head and colour. Very complex taste with hops and leftovers of all kinds of bacteriae. I just wonder how great the unfiltered version would taste.

Orange, white head with filmy retention. Nose is diacetyl, caramel, malt, some sweet hints. Taste begins with grainy malt, caramel and finishes with more malt, diacetyl and lightly bitter hops. Slightly honeyish hints in the aftertaste. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not bad.

on tap Pours clear pale golden with dense white top lasting middle long. Aroma of malt, caramel and bread. Taste is very sweet with tones of herbal-grassy tracks of hops in afterpath. Bread-full flavor. Good creamy mouthfeel, above medium carbonation level. Nice one but to me it couldn’t be casual. Too sweet and not so hoppy what I prefer.

Not bad. Like a cross between a Czech Pilsner and a Belgian abbey. Quite bready, with little hops. Nice mouthfeel. Not bad.
