2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
50cl bottle at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Pours deep copper with an off-white head. Caramely and malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and hints of spices. Sweet with warming alcohol and a light bitterness. Quite okay winter warmer, but a bit too sweet.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of the most beautiful beers I’ve ever had. Had the pleasure of visiting their brewery awhile back, and these bottles just can’t compare with the live, unfiltered stuff, but the special edition winter (ziemas) is really worth trying if you can get your hands on one

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0,5L bottle, BB 12.04.14. ABV on the label is 7.0%. Pours red amber with nice white head, the head stays for some time. Aroma: caramel and malt. Taste is very sweet, caramel, dark fruits, malt, alcohol, slightly metallic. Finish is mild bitter and smoke with alcohol and strong caramel sweetness. Overall: not bad, but not something I would try again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber, creamy medium light beige head. Nose is caramel, dried fruit, toasty hints, malt, sweetness. Taste is messy malt, caramel sweetness, dry finish with more caramel sweetness, strawberry jam, light hops. Oily palate, soft carbonation, thin to medium body. Not a porter, way too light. Drinkable, but weird in a not exciting way.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
A 500ml bottle, 7.0 % abv, kindly shared by Elisabeth and Stefan. Fading fawn-coloured head. Poor lacing. Clear, reddish-brown coloured body. Dried fruity aroma, hints of smoked malts. Jam-like taste character, caramel and mid-tart fruits. Dry and semi-sweet ending. Soft in the mouth. Likable without greater excitements. Strange kind of a Baltic Porter (session in Tĺrnrommet, Tromsř 09.01.2014).

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark amber reddish color, medium beige head. Sweet aroma is mostly malt, with some notes of burnt sugar, grain and spices. Taste is similar, dry sweet with lightly bitter dry finish. Light body and average carbonation. Drinkable, but boring.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours deep coppery reddish with beige foam, aroma is malt oriented, but rather toasted or min roasted than other darker versions, so me this by definition is NOT porter. As winter beer it is without any spices in flavor. Taste is semisweet with light darker-malts bitter at the end and becomes sourer with every sip. Medium bodied with quite thick texture, light dry finish.
Incorrect category + as winter beer it could be more mild, warming, spicy - not for drinking but sipping.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 7.0%. Pours a copper body with a minimal head. "Style: Baltic Porter". Come on... this is not a Baltic Porter. Maybe closer to a Dunkler Bock? Aroma has malt with some jammy notes (Were you expecting a porter? You just got Jammed!). Taste has sweet fruity malts with medium levels of caramel. A bit lactic but not disturbingly. Finish has enough hops so it doesn’t become cloying. It’s an alright strong beer but this kind of rusticness suits better for their lighter beers.
