Brewed with Hallertau hops - the noble hops that are used to brew traditional German lager; Distinctive hoppy aroma and floral, estery notes.

330 ml can bought at DCH Foodmart in Sheung Shui.

Piss-like pale golden yellow colour; Half finger head and thin white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Minimal lacing and fizzy carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, corn, rice, and light grass; Medium sweet taste of light malt, pretty strong rice, corn, light citrus and light sharp grass; Light body, watery palate; Taste is quite clean for a macro, no cardboard, chalk or rubbery taste here. Okay. Hoppiness is very light grassy nose, pretty good light citrusy and grass in taste, and very low in bitterness; Wet after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: Considering this is produced by the local San Miguel brewery for the Southern China market, I am very surprised that it actually tastes better than the local San Miguel, which was plagued by rubbing alcohol and rubbery bad booze. Moreover, its hoppiness is considerably more evident than other Asian macros. All in all, a rare case of inexpensive and close to decent macro. My US$0.50 was well spent.
