With its 7.0% alcohol by volume, Vampire Pale Ale is somewhat higher in alcohol content than regular ales, but it’s not overpowering like the name might suggest. Instead its alluring color and aroma envelop the ever-present hops and fruity esters that leads you craving for more and more. Like all living ales, Vampire Pale Ale will continue to improve with age.

Light golden color with a tall frothy head. Plenty of fruity esters, hints of banana and Belgian yeast. Low hop level. Similar to a Duvel-style Belgian golden ale, but with less character. Thin in the palate, refreshing, pretty good.

Bottle. Musty barley malt aroma. Clear copper with a large, quickly dissipating white head. Fruity bready malt flavor with a hint of hop bittering in the finish, and some light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden with a a bubbly white head that foams up quite a bit. Aroma is that of white grape juice, some yeasty dough. Flavor is unimpressive and dull with some tired white grape accents, some light lemony notes, a touch of yeast and raw dough. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it. This has been sitting on the shelf for several months - finally went on sale at $7.99 - glad I waited.

Pours the color of apple juice with half foam, like a belgian pale ale, that settles to a film quickly. The aroma is gummy. The bite is forward and fizzy. The taste is belgian yeast and fizzy champagne-like pale malt. It doesnt taste alchy, but the bite makes up for this.
