Pours brown amber with a medium frothy off white head. Okay lacing. Aroma is sweet, caramel and light liqourice. Fine mouthfeel, low carbonation. Flavour is sweetly malty, a bit sharpish with liqourice, caramel and chocolate.

[Session @ yespr] Brown with huge head. Sweet and vinious aroma with roasted malt, overripe fruits, tofee and chocolate. Sweet and fruity flavor with roasted malt and yeasty notes.

33 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen. pours hazy orange to brown with a huge lasting off-white head. Light spiced caramel malt aroma. Flavour is mellow yeasty and light roasted malt aroma. Flavour is sweet into the finish, light spiced finish. Nice.

Dark brown, ruby glints, healthy tight beige head. Cocoa powder and liquorice aroma, a little creamy. Taste has similar profile, but also a burn that’s not alcohol, not chilli, and on the whole not bad, but definitely quite spikey. The general direction is towards burntness, and the astringent character does build. Still a fairly tasty brew.

Aroma is moderate malty, cola, roasted, caramel, mocca, some notes of old malt / wood, moderate hoppy, pine, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (091207)

Dark mahogany color; persistent thin head. The aroma is a bit vinous, but also smells like rotten grapes. The flavor is smooth, with some sweetness, and just a touch of woody complexity, not enough, no fruitness nor sourness. Not my kind.
