Bottle at 3rd pre-ZBF after-tasting. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of faint hops and some pale malt. Flavor is slightly bitter, slightly sour and slightly sweet. Well balanced. Bitter finish and a creamy texture. Lively carbonation.

scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Gold, fluffy white head. Grassy ripe pear aromas warm to lighter green grape and straw tones. Sweet fruit and grassy-like flavors round with a touch of yeastiness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, sweet finish. Nothing remotely bitter here...

Nothing spectacular but pretty refreshing. Fluffy head that really lingers. Good dose of malt with some woodiness and a bit of citrus. Very dry finish with a nice hop bitterness at the end.

Miksu (4982) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2010
0.75 l bottle at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Golden color, very foamy. Perfumed strongly spicy aroma with pepper, clove and raspberry. Sweet, spicy and tart flavor with fruity bitterness. Strong spiciness does not pair well with bitterness. Not so drinkable.

330 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a volcanic white head all over the table. Aroma is mild malty and mild citric with a touch of spices. Flavor is sweet, mild malty, spicy and white sugar with the alcohol lurking in the background. A bit sticky body balancing off with a rather pronounced bitter finish. Feels like a Belgium blond or triple with extra hops.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. This fella quite liderally exploded out of the traps, a nice looking pallid yet hazy gold with a big old white head. Yeasty aroma with some citrus and hop for good measure. Well rounded hop bitterness to the flavour that again had citrus notes and plenty to recommend it. Very drinkable and well worth a look.

750ml bottle. pours a crystal clear gold under a large creamy white head. bottle under lots of pressure. very effervescent appearance to this one. lots of speedy bubbles. fresh grassy aroma with hints of floral and fresh picked green herbs. the flavor very hoppy with notes of apple juice and white grape juice. highly carbonated and dry. an all around average beer. nice to drink but i probably won’t seek it out again. doesn’t resemble an ESB at all.

Bottle (gussher) at home ... golden yellow ... huge huge short lived white head ... salty yeasty fruit nose ... sweet fruits ... little toffee ... little bready .. little spice.
