Holmen1 (2337) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2014

Draught. Citric and fruity flavour, some vanilla. Berry notes. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Small head. Tastes both of berries and barrel.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, wineous and light caramelish. Smooth lingering fruity and toasted malty.

750 ml bottle at home (n°265). One of the most unbalanced beers I have ever tasted and one of the baddest beers "tout-court". This is gross, djeezes. Pours clear brown with a grey-white head. Cognac aroma (alike the Trignac) and caramel + a light alcohol sting. Extremely light body (almost like sparkling water) but no flavour at all but some light cognac and wood. Palate is utterly bland. I cannot like this. Or there is something seriously off with my taste buds (let’s hope not) or with this bottle or with the beer in general. Extreme dissapointment
