This was a freaky stout. OK, I get it that it’s a Belgian stout but I got this butterscotch-y thing on the aroma along with blackberries and Coke. No chocolate, no roasted malts. Berries, Coke and butterscotch. It wasn’t horrible, but...just....odd. Flavor brings some smooth caramel malts, more berries, licorice and dry chocolate powder. I can’t really consider this a stout, but whatever.

Dobry i tresciwy do tego bardzo bardzo aromatyczny. Winiakowy aromat i posmak. Kolor rubinowo-brazowy. Wielka piana i długo sie trzyma nad pokalem. Zbyt jednak mocne wysycenie ze piana sie wylewa przy srednio szybkim nalewaniu.

Dark brown almost black colour with a small creamy off-white head.
Mild roasted malt and liquorice in the rather mild aroma.
Roasted malt, liquorice and mild hops in the flavour. Alcohol well hidden but otherwise quite easy and uninteresting brew.

January 2012. From a 33 cl. bottle. Poured dark brown with a tan head. Nothing like a traditional stout. The Belgian yeast is very present and the finish slightly bitter.

Ebano, con schiuma abbondante e cremosa, abbastanza persistente. Aroma di malto tostato, caffè, cacao, caramello, melassa. Nel palato ha il classico attacco morbido, supportato da una discreta acidità, amaro moderato. Sentori retro olfattivi di caffè e cacao, con note di prugne.

Clear dark brown with red tint and tan head. Taste is nothing like a stout. Dine black fruit, some sweet chocolate and overripe fruit.

Pours dark brown color with a small head. Aroma of chocolate, some sourish fruits, yeast and malts. Flavor of caramel malts, chocolate notes fruits and yeast.

Pours dark brown. Almost see through. Not a good start for a "stout". Gusher. The nose is chocolate, coffee, green grass, slight metal. The taste is sweet, the slightly tart with a big bitter finish. The mouthfeel is crisp, way to crisp, overcarbonated. The body is very light and the finish is medium. Doesn't meet the stout standard by any countries means.
