Very nice, deep brown color. Amazing aroma, due to the fact that this beer is barrel aged. Good job Van Den Bossche brewery. Cheers

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at Deanís stickiest floor tasting. Pours a reddish black beer with a thin, off white head on top. Aroma of chemicals and artificial sweets. Too much sugar and yeast in the flavor, making it very sweet and unbalanced. Short, sugary finish. Not so impressive, but an ok beer.

Bottle @ "Press Deans button tasting". Dark red brown color, small beige head. Smell sweetness, red fruits. Weird. Taste malts, sweetness, red fruits, slightly winey, slightly bitter in the finish. Not that bad imo. Medium body and carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Deanoís monthly tasting, September 2013. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is acidic with raisins and a little alcohol. The flavour is weak bitter with a red berry fruity, yeast palate. It started well but ultimately disappointed.
