Bottled. Coppery/golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is some malts and spices and that’s pretty much it. Flavour is spices, malts and some fruity hops. Something between a pils and ale...

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Big thanks to Fergus for this bruiser. Pours clear yellow with lots of pale floaties. Pretty eatery on the nose, plenty of dough, faint tangy lemon. Medium sweet flavor with lots more doughy malts, more lemon, some meringue. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary, doughy white bread finish, some Belgian yeast, mild straw. Tasty enough.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2008 Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. The nose is too grainy, yet it is balanced. The flavor is grassy at start, with hay and grains, but for once it is in a quite pleasant way. Medium body. A boring beer. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7 (070301)

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body with an off-white head. The nose is fruity, more Belgian than British, with banana, some citrus and spices, as well as some yeast. A grainy note as well. The flavor is much the same, but more on the grainy and malty side. A bit thin in the mouth, with Belgian fruityness and spices. Medium body. Nice fruity finish with a grainy touch. A bit on the grainy side, but still refreshing and quaffable. (080504)
