Virtually no head and the first thing I noticed was how sweet it was. The taste isn’t really bad it just didn’t taste to much like a beer, mostly like sugar and of course strawberry. Overall its alright if you like sweeter beers but only then. EithCubes (2146), Indiana, USA

Extreme fruity nose, heavy sweet strawberry, somewhere between squishy candy and a wine cooler. Thick ruby body with a short beige head. Very sweet taste, jammy strawberry, trending toward artificiality with stale overtones. Light crispness and medium-full body. Soft and a good starter for some, but the base beer doesn’t blend terribly well with the juice, and I want to move on quickly to the next. cfrancis (311), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Nov 13, 2009 When it comes to fruit beer, this one is pretty top of the list. Aroma is awash with strawberries. Pours a ruby red with minimal head. Flavour is obvious fruit, soft alcohol aftertones. The only fault is it is very thin on the taste and light on the mouthfeel. But for a summer afternoon on the patio, this would be ideal sipping beer. sigma23 (217), , Maine, USA

Syrupy sweet and probably isn’t targeted at beer drinkers. Strawberry jam flavour. Have had worse and wouldn’t rule out a return glag of this if nothing else available.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 28, 2009 From bottle. Terrific strawberry aroma. Like macerated berries and cream. Sweet, lush. No harsh notes in nose and no hop character. Dark red amber murky, like juice, with no head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Sweet, sweet, sweet. Tons of berry flavor and lots of sugar. Not much bitterness or malt character. Like strawberry juice with carbonated rose water. OK, but not one I’d likely have again. My wife enjoyed it tremendously. Looks more like a murky rosé bubbly wine than a beer -but with a small pale pink foamy head with good retention. Candy-sweet aroma of strawberries stands out, hints of citrus peel and coriander. Flavor is like strawberries and strawberry jam; too sweet. Aftertaste and mouth feel are a sticky-sweet combo of strawberries and cotton candy. Forget it!
