Beese (79), Watford, Hertfordshire, England Sep 16, 2007 Pours a pink colour with some light pink head. Definite smell of strawberrys and a similar taste, kind of like liquid strawberry jam. It’s alrite at first, but I found that after half a bottle it became too insipid. Not so much a fault with the beer, but I’ve never been a fan of strawberry juice, in a similar way to raspberrys, I find that they lose their tart edge when juiced and are just too sweet.
Maybe the cranberry version works better? HenrikSoegaard (4265), Randers, Denmark Sep 13, 2007 Draught at dr. Louise, Esbjerg.
