Van Diest Früli Strawberry Beer

Pours a pink colour with some light pink head. Definite smell of strawberrys and a similar taste, kind of like liquid strawberry jam. It’s alrite at first, but I found that after half a bottle it became too insipid. Not so much a fault with the beer, but I’ve never been a fan of strawberry juice, in a similar way to raspberrys, I find that they lose their tart edge when juiced and are just too sweet. Maybe the cranberry version works better?

Draught at dr. Louise, Esbjerg. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Ugly muddy red colour. Powerfull strawberry aroma. Really sweet flavor, average finish, powerfull strawberry notes. Syruply palate.

Bottle. Cloudy (due to yeast no doubt!), strawberry yogurt like aroma, pinkish head which quickly disappears. taste starts of sweet but becoming tart towards the end.

I know alot hate this beer but i think it is a very decent starter fruit beer, some small amounts of reddish foam, color is reddy brown, good strawberry nose , almost a strawberry smoothy with alcohol, some underling hops. Good

Rosa color and a bit unclear. Has a medium lasting head and pink. Has a true strawberry aroma and flavor, nice. Aroma, strawberry, sweet. Flavor, sweet and strawberry. Texture is syrup.

(Bottle at Tre Små Hus, Göteborg) Cloudy dark red color. Sweet strawbrry aroma. Sweet and somewhat sourish strawberry flavor. Sourish notes in the finish.

Tap@ynwa. Aroma of yogurt, sweet aroma, taste wise it was ok but over the top.

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Oh! A fruit beer from Huyghe. It must be great... Cloudy reddish. Artificial strawberry aroma. Sweet and perfumy with saccharine and artificial strawberry falvour. Is there actually beer in here? Hello?
