[414-20070709] 250mL. Strawberry wine shortcake aroma. Murky, dark red body with a medium-lasting bubbly white head. More fruit punch than beer, flavour is strongly strawberry (you can almost feel the seeds) and lightly plastic. Medium body. Refreshing summer brew. (8/3/8/3/14) 3.6

[2330B-20090724] Sample. Sweet super strawberry juice aroma. Hazy, light pink red body with a quick foamy light pink head. More strawberry juice in the flavour, very sweet. Medium body. Fruity and great for a summer patio, more like a cooler than a beer though. (6/3/7/3/10) 2.9

Bottle: Poured a hazy red brown with a off white color head. Aroma is fruit mostly strawberry, but it also had a sugary candy like smell. Sweet berry flavor with a dry sugar lasting taste bud tingle.

Bottle. Hazy red color with a average fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy strawberry (a bit like strawberryjam), sweat, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet to heavy (strawberry and sugar sweet) with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Pink with white head. Sweet strawberry aroma. Sirupy and in a way quite synthetic. Lack variation!

Pours a raspberry-hued amber with tons of carbonation and a fast yet fluffy pink head. Strawberry vs. yeasts in the aroma come off like jam on bread. Fruity, sweeet & tart with cheek-pinching astringence. Fruitiness stays prominent but some yeasty and bitter notes push through to show you there’s actually beer under it all. A strawberry-lovers delight. For the rest of us, an interesting change of pace and a well-done fruit beer.

A Mes rate: Another tap sample from Lowlander. Amazing that I have never rated this. Full on strawberry wheat beer. Over the top sweetness but there is just a little something I cant help like about it.

I tried this beer at the ’Beer Bistro’ restaurant in Toronto on June 21, 2007. The beer was poured by the waiter. It had a strong unmistakably strawberry aroma that captured me right away. It was a dark red in the glass. The mouthfeel was very champagne like. The taste was very good. A truly enjoyable beer.

Light hazy reddsih colour with a small pinkish head. Strawberry and candy sweet aroma and flavor. Simply too one dimensional.
