Van Diest Früli Strawberry Beer

KØ07. Good strawberry aroma. Nice, hazy red colour. Small pink head. Sweet strawberry flavour, quite nice. Strawberry candy flavour. Slightly citric. Sweet, but balanced.

becoming increasinlgly popular with the cousins of corona drinkers. overly sweet and gimmicky, better than some of the others in it’s class, but that’s not saying much. there are far better novelty beers out there that actually work.

Had a nice unclear greyred look with a pink foam. Aroma was very sweet indeed, with raw strawberry dominating, and a good amount of sugar, gives it a strawberry candy scent. Flavor isnt much differnt. Strong sweet strawberry, but with a detectable bitterness in there. Alchohol is completly hidden, so its more like strawberry juice than acctual beer i think. I like it though! And my gf threatend me to give it a nice rating....

bottle: Oh my gawd this is awful!!! Pours a pink colour and smells of fake strawberry flavouring. I swear, this is really a wine cooler. Serve this to someone in a glass and they would never believe that it is a beer. Tastes a little like the juice my 3 year old likes. Awful.....simply awful. Artificial strawberry flavours dominate.....gross.....really gross. Strawberries and cream=good idea. Strawberries and beer=dumb idea.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy reddish with a small, pink head. Sweet and very artificial strawberry aroma. Thin and extremely sweet with very distinct strawberry notes - hard to believe they should be natural. Very sticky finish. 170507

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours red with little head. Aroma is sweet strawberries, slight sour. Looks great and smells lovely. Flavour is sweet, very sweet strawberry, slight cloying. Finish is short and sweet.

Bottle. Unfiltered and cloudy pink colour. Aroma and taste of sweet strawberrys. Very fresh but much too sweet for me. At the end of the day, it´s an ok fruitbeer to share to a chocolatecake or dessert.

bottle - on offer in tesco. pours in to the glass like a milkshake; cloudy and dark milky pink. No head. Smells like strawberry nesqik. Intresting to have it from a bottle at home rather than on tap in the pub - its not that great in the cold light of day. Has an astringent cloying flavour, nasty aftertaste.
