Magtek32 (76), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 10, 2007 250ml bottle. cloudy murky red with a small pinkish head. looks kinda like tomato juice. strong strawberry smell(not a big surprise). tastes like strawberries (also not a surprise) with a nice tart finish. a bit of an artificial aftertaste. good carbonation. tastes good, but not too much like beer wilderthanyou (410), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Apr 10, 2007 Pours a unclear red/pink colour, with not head, and a creamy white ring. Strong scents of candy strawberry, very straight forward. Tastes just how it smells, as one dimensional as a beer can get. The palat was ok i guess, carbonation was decent, texture was a bit syrupy though. reakt (938), Greater London, England Mar 18, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007draft from Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Courtesy of two English gents on the piss - they insisted this was "the best beer you can get in Belgium" and that it "is something like 15% abv". I enjoyed a chuckle and accepted the freebie. Cloudy pinkish red. Too sweet aroma of strawberries. Taste is part sour young strawberries, part artificial strawberries. Fresh and fruity finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice one for your nan. hughie (3018), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Mar 11, 2007 On tap at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Murky dark red with a lasting rosy head. Sweet ripe strawberry aroma. Taste could have had a little more tartness, otherwise it has a fairly authentic strawberries-from-the-freezer taste, hovering just on the right side of cloying jamminess. All right, I admit, it was delicious. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 6, 2007 Updated: Jun 27, 2007Weatherspoons on tap ... Clowdy muddy red ... Sweet with hint of strawb ... sweet strawb very pleasent but with no complexity;
Btl at home ... Clowdy red ... sugery strawberry nose ... strawberry ice cream ... very sweet ... huge amount of flavour ... but no depth
uping 2.3 to 2.6 as a good occasional.
robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Mar 2, 2007 interesting, this is so juice, and its actually decent, i would call it beer, but it sure is tasty! french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Mar 1, 2007 Updated: Jan 25, 2009On tap @ Pub Italia. Hazy orange poor with an orangish white head. Aromas of strawberry shortcake, frozen yogourt, strawberries, strawberries and more strawberries. Very frothy, lactose induced mouthfeel. Tastes like a strawberry milkshake. This is a fruit beer............... RobBestwick (555), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Feb 21, 2007 Updated: Apr 1, 2007Bottled. Pours with a cloudy crimson head and a reddish head, which disappears quickly. Strong strawberry aroma, strawberry flavoured with a hint of bitterness in the finish.
