Commercial Description:
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

Bu à Tir Nan Og à Kingston (Ontario), 25 cl. Couleur de jus de pamplemousse, peu de collet. Arome de smoothy au fraise. Petit goût de fraise sûr. Très bon pour l’été.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy/redish colour. Smells of strawberry. Taste is of Hoegaarden mixed with strawberry juice. A bit too sweet for my tastes. My wife loves it.

Red colored, looks like a strawberry juice, little white head. Strong strawberry aroma with sweetness, nothing else comes up from there. Flavor is just like strawberry juice: very sweet with strong strawberries. Mildly sour aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a strawberry pink colour. Kind of smells like strawberries. Sour strawberry tatse, not very good. Smooth drinking though.

Pint poured at The Porterhouse in Covent Garden (London) - shared with The GrandMistress. A light raspberry red colour - looks like a smoothie to me. Quite a sharp and tangy aroma with fizzy raspberry in the mouth. My lady liked it, I wasn’t so impressed.

Bottled 0,33L.Torbid and dense reddish/pinkish color, decidedly impenetrable one. Rather fading and brittle foam. Artificial and unusual scent; a mix of raspberry, strawberry and chewing gum. More similar to a candy that of true fruits. Absent bitter and alcohol. Much mellow and with a medium end.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pinkish-orange with a large diminishing foamy pinkish-white head. Nice lacing. This is a very good looking beer. It also smells better then I thought it would. Strawberries, yeast, spices and hops -- not bad at all. Flavour of strawberries, wheat, some citrus, spices and a light hoppy finish. Very pleasant tasting, not cloying at all. I’m not sure if they’ve changed the recipe or it’s just a case of different strokes for different folks but I’m quite shocked at the low ratings for this, for what this is it’s well done and very easy to drink -- I quite liked it.
