COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,33L.Torbid and dense reddish/pinkish color, decidedly impenetrable one. Rather fading and brittle foam. Artificial and unusual scent; a mix of raspberry, strawberry and chewing gum. More similar to a candy that of true fruits. Absent bitter and alcohol. Much mellow and with a medium end.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pinkish-orange with a large diminishing foamy pinkish-white head. Nice lacing. This is a very good looking beer. It also smells better then I thought it would. Strawberries, yeast, spices and hops -- not bad at all. Flavour of strawberries, wheat, some citrus, spices and a light hoppy finish. Very pleasant tasting, not cloying at all. I’m not sure if they’ve changed the recipe or it’s just a case of different strokes for different folks but I’m quite shocked at the low ratings for this, for what this is it’s well done and very easy to drink -- I quite liked it.

250ml Bottle, 5.3% a/v Pours a cloudy red color with small black flecks floating around in the beer. Smells like, of all things.. strawberrys. The tongue tastes strawberry obviously, some lemon, and also a very nice backing of a clean beer flavour. Goes down very smooth. This is actually a VERY nice beer. I couldnt see drinking many because of the sweetness, but it is a very nice, tasty and natural beer. Definetly nice for a summer day sitting outside. Try it!

Why is this beer rated SOOOO poorly, I wonder, when it is claimed from the beginning that it is a fruit beer? What do you expect? It is cloudy and it looks to have real fruit infused into it. THe head doesn’t last, but the aroma is pleasantly strawberry - sweet, but also tart. Refreshing beverage - similar to what a "wine cooler" is to wine. I imagine I will come back to this one in warmer weather, sitting outside enjoying heat with this as an apertif of some sort.

Cloudy pinkish orange with a couple of bubbles sticking to the side of the glass - aroma of sweet strawberry syrup and lemon rind - kind of tastes like these fruity malt beverages that are so popular these days, only one that has gone slightly sour - the flavor seems pretty natural, though - pretty refreshing, just not something I think I’d try again.

Densely cloudy, dirty pink. Fizzy effervescent head, gone before you know it. Smells like a strawberry cooler, tastes like a strawberry cooler-- sickly sweet. Not one I would come back to.

Even with an agressive pour I only got a tiny head that quickly subsided. Looks cloudy brown with a hint of red. Strong strawberry aroma. Bubbly texture with a natural strawberry flavour, sweet but not too sweet.
