Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

Short rating....Tasted in Toronto, obtained from LCBO. Tasted in raftman snifter. Appearance is strawberry red, foamy with a disturbing opaqueness. Aroma of sweet fruit, manufactured rubbish and intestinal squabble. Flavour is sweet, non-impressive yet lovely. Oh well.

We have this on tap at work, to tell you the truth, you don’t feel like your drinking a beer, it is however, refreshing, strong strawberry taste and goes down smooth, this is fine to have one pint but no more than that

Yes, it’s one-dimensional. But it does score a few points for it’s cloudy appearance, big head and fresh, juicy smell. Too sweet and not complex enough, obviously, but there’s something there.

Fruli pours a sparkling red body, with a thick and foamy pink head that stays the course. Aromas here are fruity, strayberry for the most part, some other berry aromas. Some yeasty notes hit the nose as well. Taste is sweet fruit, sour as well. Reminds me of a fruit drink, as opposed to a beer, or a lambic for that matter. My girlfriend’s sister loves this stuff. Hey, at least I’ve got her off of coors light, right?

Hazy red-brown, small reddish head. Strawberries in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet, grassy - strawberry flavor. More like drinking strawberry juice than beer. (4/3/3/3/10 2.3). Re-rated, draught@Porterhouse, Dublin. Hazy dark red-pinky, small reddish head. Strong aroma of fresh strawberries. Medium to full-bodied, lots of "fresh strawberries", almost like drinking strawberry milk shake. Not overly sweet. (7/3/7/3/13 3.3)

UPDATED: APR 4, 2007 Maybe its cause this is only the 3rd fruit lambic iv ever had, but i thought this was amazin, aroma and taste are super strawberry jam, soo comferting, though u wouldnt want more than one. RERATE: This is perhaps not the beauty i thought it was as its not a lambic for one thing, but still a not bad ale.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2005 Bottle (250ml). In my fancy-dancy Lindeman’s Framboise flute I bought in Bruges. Poured very lively, deep murky/cloudy pink-apricot-ruby, massive foamy, creamy and rocky pinkish-white head - stayed around quite a while too. Impressive lace on sides of glass. Tiny white particles dancing near the bottom of the glass. Aroma is predictably massive strawberry preserves (with pectin!), heavy yeast, and some orange peel, a touch of malt vinegar at the edge of my perception. Taste isn’t as sweet as I was expecting, more like strawberry preserves with a good dollop of rhubarb tossed in. Very treacly and mildly fizzy in the mouth; I had a crust of sugary jam on my lips for quite a while afterward. My wife likes it ...

Orange/red cloudy pour with some sediment. Tall foamy pinkish head. Yeasty barnyard, berry aroma. Quite sweet with just enough tart and carb to cut through. Orange accounts for about half of the flavour. Strawberries are juicey but aren’t incorporated properly. Wheat and yeast flavours are dull. Kind of clunky and thrown together. But, it’s not as horrible as your friends say it is.

I found this beer gross. It smelled good but oh man it was awful. It looked and tasted like someone blended up rotten fruit roll ups and Hoegarden and served to me!
