| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2009 Bottle Pours a cloudy red with okay white head. The head deminishes quickly and has a little lacing. Aroma is wheat and strawberry. Taste is sweet with some beer touches. Has a good carbonation. The mouthfeel is okay but very sweet. Has a light body and hints of belgain. An average finish. This probally isn’t my cup of tea. Sparky27 (1586), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 7, 2009 8.2 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish orange with a half finger pinkish head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is sour wheat and sweet strawberries. The taste is wheat, strawberry soda and spice. Lighter prickly mouthfeel. Really interesting beer. Would be very refreshing if not for the overly sweet fake strawberry candy flavor. New Glarus should try this with real strawberries! | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 7, 2009 Bottle from mar. Pours with a small white fading head and a hazed pink body. Aroma of strawberry, gelatin, sugar and cereal. Taste is sugar, soda, strawberry flavoring. Lightish bubbles. Tastes exactly like strawberry Fanta. Soda. Do you want some beer with your strawberry juice? Tejas (696), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 6, 2009 18? Are you f’ing kidding me? I thought this was solid. Great summer brew that actually tasted like the fruit on the label. Can’t tell you the number of fruit beers that don’t actually taste like they claim. Rciesla (3600), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cranberry body with a white head. Sweet sugar and strawberries are the essence of this brew. Delicious aroma but how does it hold up. Chewy and sweet with a soft strawberry flavor. Well if this is what was set out to be done its a hell of a sugar sweet brew with a lingering sweetness. Well its honestly delicious, it tastes like a sweetened fruit juice, and well it has alcohol, im not sure i could really drink more than one of these, as far as beer goes it hardly seems as such but whatever it tastes dam good. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 2, 2009 Bottle, room temperature. This is strawberry red with a bit of orange in the colour and a very thin, slightly pink head. There is a fair bit of strawberry in the aroma with some funk, leafiness, distant sugar like strawberry pie filling. The mouthfeel is medium in body, a bit clinging. The flavour is not terribly strong: there’s some tart strawberry, not in any way complex. kitschy (198), Nebraska, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2009 Delicious strawberry. I fully expect to be one of only two people who will feel this way. Strawberry aroma and color; if you poured it on ice it would be a daquiri. I don’t think it tastes truly Belgian.
