250mL bottle from the LCBO in Toronto. Pours a nice, cloudy dark brown. Smells like children’s cough syrup - ugh. The taste is, not surprisingly, of strawberries. Better than children’s cough syrup anyway. This is like strawberry juice. (Well, I suppose it IS strawberry juice.) Which isn’t so bad, I suppose - unless you were hoping for something resembling a beer.

Sep 28, 2008 From bottle. Wow, very impressive aroma of fresh strawberries, almost as if they have been just picked and juiced. Cloudy pinkish, red in colour with a thin lace. Sweet strawberry flavour, not strong alcohol or even hops notes with the beer. More like a fruit juice. Pleasant fruit beer, a little on the sweet side. Will keep the Mrs happy whilst I sample some more beers to my liking.

Sep 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours murky red with a medium creamy white head. Sweet strawberry aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Sweet strawberry flavour that stays in your mouth for a long time.

Sep 16, 2008 Had on tap. Firstly the price put me off £3.90! but what about the beer? It tasted different and unusual and very much of strawberries, fizzy strawberries, somehow i just wonder how naturally the strawberries are, as they say its pure fruit juice i’ll give them a good rating.

Sep 5, 2008 250 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish gold with red-white head. Nose is basically pure, sweet strawberry. Taste is like sweet strawberry juice. Practically like it’s not beer. Really needs something to dial down the sweetness. Very lively carbonation. Thinnish body. Not going to be rushing out for another.
