Van Diest Früli Strawberry Beer

An unclear red beer with no head. The is very powerful sweet with strong notes of strawberries. The flavor is mainly of strawberries on a wheaty background, while the body is thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy reddish with a small, pink head. Sweet and very artificial strawberry aroma. Thin and extremely sweet with very distinct strawberry notes - hard to believe they should be natural. Very sticky finish. 170507

Bottled at RBESG ’07. Oh! A fruit beer from Huyghe. It must be great... Cloudy reddish. Artificial strawberry aroma. Sweet and perfumy with saccharine and artificial strawberry falvour. Is there actually beer in here? Hello?

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours red with little head. Aroma is sweet strawberries, slight sour. Looks great and smells lovely. Flavour is sweet, very sweet strawberry, slight cloying. Finish is short and sweet.

Bottle. Hazy red color with a average fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy strawberry (a bit like strawberryjam), sweat, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet to heavy (strawberry and sugar sweet) with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

KØ07. Good strawberry aroma. Nice, hazy red colour. Small pink head. Sweet strawberry flavour, quite nice. Strawberry candy flavour. Slightly citric. Sweet, but balanced.

Bottle. Clear red coloured with a light pink head. Perfumed aroma of strawberries and butter. Flavour of strawberries and butter.

Muddy reddish-amber colour. One-dimensional strawberry aroma and flavour. Ultra sweet. Like jam on toast in a bottle.
