COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

Bottle from Party Source. Poured reddish/amber color with a moderate off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Average sweet strawberry aroma. Medium body with a smooth thick texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet fruity flavor with a sweet finish of moderate duration. Fruit brew, not my style.

Bottle. Brown / orange colour with a white head. Strong aroma of sugar and ripe strawberry. Flavour is the same. I like this one.

Bottled at Wetherspoons world of beer promo. Cloudy pink with pink head. What on earth is happening here? Fruity sweet concoction that if I didn’t have the bottle in my hands I would not have said was beer. Its a sweet sticky cheap fruit juice that is placed in probably a cheap Belgian Witt. Disgusting, but gets the od mark for novelty and aroma.

Hazy dark grapefruit juice with a thin white head. Aroma of strawberry Certs or slushy. In mouth, too sweet with unfruity lactic points, astringent in character. Cloying and unpleasant. From the Beer Store...why???

Bottle… Cloudy, dirty orange ale with a small, fluffy, pinkish head. Good retention. The aroma is perfumey and candy-sweet... strawberry fragrance with rumors of coriander and orange peel. Medium to full-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is, in a word, cloying. Sweet and syrupy, like strawberry jelly. The hops aren’t completely absent, but they’re definitely running late for class. Finishes sticky-sweet. If I did such things, I would have dumped this one out about halfway through the bottle… and it’s a small bottle. Almost zero drinkability due to all the sugar.

Murky dark pink color, solid head and lacing. Aroma of fruit. Taste is an interesting interplay between sweet and sour, like a strawberry juice cocktail. Not bad.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2005 Very cloudy neon pink beer with a thin white head. Very strong strawberry and light spice aroma. Flavour is almost all strawberry with a hint of coriander. Very sweet finish. I wouldn’t say that this is bad, but the sweetness really puts you off after half a pint. I couldn’t finish it.

Bottle poured a clear pale red with a small lingering pink head. Aromas of strawberry and light cookie. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of strawberry, light cookie and a hint of honey with a crisp lingering strawberry finish. Much better than I expected, not excessively sweet.

On tap - Southwark Tavern Borough London. Oh my God!! A dirty muddy pink coloured beer which looks like a fruit smoothie with a white beery head. The aroma is like strawberry milkshake, with the strawberry pips and ice cream. In fact it is like a Strawberry mivvi. The taste is syrupy strawberry fruit and more milk shake, but somewhere in there is a hint of something not unlike beer. Dodgy.
