COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

Sampled on 4/22/2009. This fruit beer pours a reddish amber color form a 25cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is strawberries and malt, fairly sweet. A light to medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. There are lots and lots of strawberry flavors in this beer from sweet to very sweet. Some coriander and orange peel flavors as well. A little on the flat side. A little of this beer goes a LONG way. It could use some tartness to help balance the ever-increasing sweet strawberry flavors. Need some more carbonation as well. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. The finish is clean and smooth. The aftertaste is sweet.

They’re taking the piss having the nerve to call this "beer" . Ive had alcopos with less generic flavours. Strawberry ice lollies -Strawberry jam .Srtawberry syrup ..Strawberry nightmares. How many times can I write the word strawberry before I throw up ? .!!!!

Bottle. This beer has a hazy reddish colour to it and has a strong berry aroma. Virtually no head and the first thing I noticed was how sweet it was. The taste isn’t really bad it just didn’t taste to much like a beer, mostly like sugar and of course strawberry. Overall its alright if you like sweeter beers but only then.

8.4 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors. Nose of strawberries, lactic acid, and light yeast. Hazy strawberry pink with a medium pink head. Flavor is sweet strawberry soda with a hint of tartness.

8.4 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a somewhat hazy faded dark maroon with plum shades, white ring around the glass for a head, low carbonation. Aroma of a very sweet strawberry bubblegum which buries anything else that may be sensed- I tend to like the smell though. Hits the mouth with a weak body, malt is quickly washed away with an extremely sugary strawberry taste that lasts until the finish. Very one dimensional- reminds me of some cheap strawberry soda that I can get from the local grocery store. So, where’s the beer?

Cloudy red with thin pink head. Aroma is a very strong fake strawberry. Almost like a boiled sweet smell. Taste has a slight tart edge but is very sickly sweet. Again the flavour is not of fresh strawberry but a fake chemical taste. Light carbonation. One for those with a sweet tooth or the girls i think.

Oh my. Is this beer? It’s a murky, red thing with not much head. Aroma? Strawberry. Taste? Strawberry. Extremely sweet. Bit artificial tasting. Not unpleasant, but this is rateBEER.com, right?

June 2010: Brown 250ml bottle poured into a ’Mort Subite’ flute. The weather is warm and sunny, the tasting is with fresh strawberries. The look is a murky pink, dull body, a huge foaming light pink coloured head sits on top. The smell is ’over the top sweet’ strawberry, like strawberry pop. The taste is also very sweet and (suprise) strawberry flavoured. The label doesn’t hide the fact they use strawberry juice in the beer. I would like a little less usage, but it isn’t aimed at blokes like me is it? My real strawberries calmed down the experience, but it is far too sweet to be taken seriously, a proper sweet toothed ’ladies fruit beer’.

250 ml bottle @ Urban Element Ottawa. Pours a hazy pink with a small white head. Aroma is not subtle in the least, like strawberry flavoured hard candy. Taste is identical with the sweetness dominating. Effervescent with a medium length sweet finish. I can see how this beer has its place with desserts or for those who simply don’t enjoy more traditional beers but as a beer geek it’s definitely not for me.
