Sampled from a 0.75l bottle @ RBNG 2014. This is a cloudy orange honey looking one with a medium sized somewhat sidesticking white lacing head. Soft nose really. Not über hopped really. More floral and gentle with tones of honey and lots of vanilla buns(!?). That’s a new one but it does smell like vanilla buns. Nice non extreme nose. Tastes alright also. Feels light oily in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation this. Some reeds, lots of grassy tones with sweet wood juices and bittery soap. Dries my mouth quite a lot in the finish, almost so much that I’ll call it a bit soapy, but definitely tasty and something I could drink again. 15.02.2014

Shared with wim at my home. Hazy blond colored beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Yeasty fruited hopped aroma. Medium sparkling palate. Finish is hopped bitter fruited in background.

750 ml bottle into signature tulip glass, late 2013 bottling. Pours slightly cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pear, pepper, clove, light banana, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, pale malt, and fruity/spicy yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pear, pepper, clove, light banana, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spice/hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pear, pepper, clove, light banana, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish fora while. Awesome complexity and balance of citrus/earthy hops, pale malt, and fruity/spicy yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly prickly/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome Belgian IPA. All around great complexity and balance of citrus/earthy hops, pale malt, and fruity/spicy yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Systembolaget, bought in May 2014. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Hops, hay, some malt, citrus, fruit and some light notes of spices. The finish was quite dry. A descent one.

@ Eddan 14-8-30: ganska sedvanlig belgisk doft med tydliga kryddor. Ganska bubblig men en trevlig len smak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Van eecke hommel bier from rome. Clear pale amber ale with a frothy white head, good lacing. Little bit wheaty with banana aroma and bit nutty too. Slight bitterness but mostly sweet tasting. Prickly carbonation, medium body.

Pelna paleta piekny zlotawy i jasno pomaranczowy kolor piwa. Metny calkowicie gesa i spora kremowa piana. zapach drozdzowy, bananowy i zywiczny, troche jakby sosnowy. Piekna lakierowana i limitowana butelka. Swiezy chmiel wspaniale wyczuwalny w smaku dominuje nad slodowoscia. Polecam odwaznym piwoszom
