750 ml bottle. Rated on 18.4.2014. Pours a golden hazy colour with a large white head. Aroma of freshly cut grass, mild citrusy notes and baking powder. Flavour of fresh grassy bitterness, floral notes, basil, grains and spiciness. Medium bodied and high carbonation. Nice dry herbal finish. Good.

Bottled:
Eye: Hazy orange with a large, fluffy and lacing head.
Nose: Hops, fresh leafs, nettles and belgian yeast.
Mouth: Lively carbonation.
Tongue: Fresh hops, belgian yeast and some alcohol.
Brain: This hop-bomb doesn’t brake any new ground but is nevertheless quite tasty.

Sample from bottle, RBNG 2014 in Halden, Grand Tasting. ABV was 7.5%. Golden to orange colour, large white head. Distinctly spicy and hoppy aroma and flavour. I tasted only about half of the beers available at the Grand Tasting, but this was the "Beer of the Tasting" for me.

15.02.2014. 0,75l Bottle. RBNG-14. Yellow colour with white head. Dry bitter. Floral hops. Moderate malty body that is kind of dominated by these nice smooth floral hops. Very smooth beer with a clean hoppy flavour.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy orange with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some soapy lacing on the glass. Smell is yeasty and fruity with crackers, peaches, dry soil, hay, white pepper corns, grapefruit juice, pineapple, lemon zest, dried pine needles, papaya and passionfruit. Taste is bitter, fruity and phenolic with crackers, dry soil, hay, grapefruit juice, pineapple, mango, white pepper corns and hints of leather. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and light bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit rinds, hay, white pepper corns, dry soil, leather and unripe tropical fruits. Very pleasant surprise of a beer.

Tack Daniel.
