Pours a very pale color with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is crackery & lightly fruity with some banana. Unfortunately some overwhelming metallic character shows up to the party which throws it off for me a bit. It’s a sweet and lightly floral smelling beer.

The flavor is nicer than the aroma, spicy and peppery, more on the sweet side of the ’Tripel’ world but not distractingly or annoyingly sweet... fruity and lightly dusty with some cracker like character. Most defiantly true to style in every way.

Had this beer several times at different locations through East-Central Iowa. Has a nice citrus nose and clean finish. A solid product.

Draft at Red’s. Poured a clear gold color. The head was thick and white with good retention and lacing. Smelled of hay/cereal grain with whiffs of clove and possibly saaz hops. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet with a warming alcohol effect. Subdued clove, hay, and white pepper with a pleasant fresh bread flavor at the end.
