Euro Market, Queens 500ml can ($1): Pours a straw colour with a white head. Aroma is slightly grassy. Beer has a watery finish. Some bread and a wee bit of hops closer up to the front of this here jawn. Some grass. Overall, this is a palatable lager and it does the job ok. Nothing remotely offensive here.

OK, at the very first I was like "This is ok, at least there are not really off flavors" and them Bammo! a few sneak in. Still, nicely bitter, metallic, slight corn/DMS. Aroma mild and mostly hay. Flavor also contains a bit of white sugar, and you just don’t want that. Nevertheless, I have had waaaaaay worse Polish lagers. Sustains minimal carbonation to look at but miraculously it is there when you take a drink.

500ml can. Very poor beer without any aroma. Dark yellow, but i don’t know why. Very little sweetness and hoppiness you can feel but not much. No alcohol, no CO2, no foam, no PILS, nothing. Nihil. But you can find this cheap gadget in East Europe.

Can in Bulgaria. Pours a clear, light gold with a fading, white head. Cereal malts in the aroma, some light sugar. Flavor is slightly odd, with some phoney breadiness, mild grains, perhaps some tight yeast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light sugar and bland malts to finish. I’m pretty understanding of the Pale Lager genre but this guy is just lackluster.

33cl can. Clean golden. Light fruity start. Mild carbonization. No feel of strong alcohol, light medium beer, not expensive.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and brewing cereal, and so is the flavor, while the body is thin.
