This is a pretty good cheap beer in the Polish style, which is the same style as pretty much everywhere. This is maybe a bit light for my tastes flavorwise but I can live w/ it as it is at least pretty much devoid of any off flavors. This is golden in color w/ only a short lived head. It’s nose is just very mile, maybe slightly hoppy, but once you taste it there’s a bit of sweetness and a light lemony note. This has surprisingly mild carbonation and it makes it come off as a bit watery though. This is a good enough and seems to be clean and well-brewed but it is blander than a lot of American light beers and it’s a full five percent alcohol so that doesn’t really make for a good beer in my book.

Pretty basic lager, no suprise here. Not too much taste, malt, bit metallic. Easy to drink.

0.5L bottle. Sour milky, metal, hop aroma. Quite sweet start, light floral, cheese flavor. Watery end. Real womens beer i think.

330ml (brown) bottle. Pale blonde, fizzy white head which quickly disappears. Grainy nose. Grainy flavour. A little banana sweetness. Very light body, very fizzy. Clean, short finish. Reasonable for the style.

Pale Yellow, Medium Head, Some Lacing. Grainy Aroma. Grain, sweet Malt, just a trace of light Bitter at the end. Nothing too offensive, nothing too good either. Another boring beer from Eastern Block like so many others. Might Be OK for what it is but on a grander scale this is just mediocre brew that could be and should be used in emergencies, such as choosing making choice between this and soda, water or milk... Otherwise Pass It...

0,5L bottle abv 5%, from supermarket in Kremenchuk Ukraine. Scents mild hops, hints of malts, bread. Head a fragile one, disappears without traces really. Straw yellow body. Somewhat over-carbonated. Taste of hops, smokey malts, a bitterness is also present. Metallic and a bit watery mouthfeel. Aftertaste metallic, bread, grains, and not long. Overall I feel that carbonation tried to hide something. It is a little better after that the beer has stood a while, and let out some of the skunky gas.

BOTTLE. Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: pale yellow, clear. Aroma: malt sweetness, dwarfed by sweat, ammonia and maybe even boiled vegetables. Taste: some malt sweetness, dry, light sour, light bitter.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is "hint of skunk". Med minus body. Flavor is pale malt with a very slight hint of skunk - or such a small amount of noble hop I can’t really tell what it is. I’m voting for skunk tho. Which doesn’t really bother me here - at least it’s some flavor. Overall this could be used to wash down food, but not for enjoyment.

Campy877 (166) - Michigan, USA - SEP 15, 2012
A typical eastern European lager. Not much to note. Very light airy head on the pour that disappears quickly. Strong alcohol residual taste on the palate even though it is only a 5% ABV lager. Is close to a domestic lager (think Budweiser) in color and smell. Overal, just OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
