Bov (4558), Bienne, Switzerland Apr 16, 2008 canned - clear amber colour with a fast vanishing foam; aroma of red fruits marmelade, chewy malts; very sweet and sticky, solid malt backbone; a late and moderate tart bitterness introduces a long malty and fruity finish where some notes of alcohol appear - just acceptable

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours clear, well filtered, perfectly amber, burned orange body with quite soft carbonation, there is not a big head and it is quickly decreasing and diminishing. Body is light to medium, head is fizzy to foamy, there is no lacing. Body looks very nice and creates really good impression, bud head is very weak and quickly diminishing.
Aroma: Aroma is generally weak, sweetness, sugary, syrupy, malty, rather heavy, suggesting heavier beer in terms of alcohol and gravity (extract).
Flavour: Sweet but not too sweet, malty, malted barley, clear soft water, a hint of roasted, burned Munchen malts and traces of aromatic hops without a shade of typical bitterness, that makes the flavuor original and quite unique, a hint of roasted grains, flavour is surprisingly good, there is a nice touch of fresh carbonation on palate making this beer more lively to escape from the heavy, sweet, syrupy maltyness. Finish duration is short to average.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is sweet, syrupy but lively due to lively carbonation on palaet, finish feel is a bit accidic but generally sweet, light alcoholic, lightly accidic. Finish feel is a bit accidic and sweet.
