3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sampled during HOPoxia 2012. My man WheatKing hit the nail on the head with his review. This experimental, hopefully soon-to-be-regular-line-of-production brew continues a pattern of promising liveliness and creativity from a fast-rejuvenating brewery.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was a special cask at the Hopoxia Festival in Victoria. It was described as having galena and cascade hops. They said they’re trying it out, and if it does well it will continue to be sold. Who knew the only black IPA at the festival would be from VIB?
Thick tan head, strong tobacco aroma, soft palate, medium oily texture, highly smooth with an orangish fruitiness, spiderwebs (always a good sign). Hope they continue with this one.
