2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Small bottle from the brewery; you can buy them individually there) I love the name. They should have saved it for a hoppy beer, for the pun, but whatever. The honey flavour is definitely there, which is more than you can say for a lot of "honey" beers... the beer’s fairly tasteless overall, and I was expecting an English Brown but this has Continential hops... can’t complain, though, it’s ok. I guess it does START to make the leap from "thin" to "delicate". I suppose they’re brewing what Joe Shmo wants.

Sweet aroma. Succeeded in adding in a honeyish taste. Not a fan of the aftertaste, expected it to be more fresh or maybe even less dry. Overall quite smooth.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had this at a little bar on a cruise last year, a very nice mellow beer with a very light crisp honey taste, not too heavy on the malt though, clean and refreshing.

Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (W. Broadway), Vancouver
Golden color with compact head. It has light malt aroma and flavor; the mouthfeel is rather dry; ordinary bitterness; the honey is not evident.

Jaune pale avec un arôme de céréales et un peu du malt. Le goût est maigre, un peu de céréales et un peu de miel. Carbonization moyenne. Pas mal typique.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341 ml bottle. Clear golden yellow, white foamy head fades fully and completely. Sweet light malt aroma. Good honey content, biscuit malt taste, and not much else. Very soft carbonation bordering on flat, light bodied, low hopped. Ho-hum. Better straight from the bottle. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap, brewery. Pours a clear dark gold with a small wispy white head. The nose is sweet honey and pale malt with minimal hops. The flavor is rather sweet and bland, lots of honey. Mouthfeel is light, yet still a bit sticky with fizzy carbonation. Overall, a bit boring and bland, a little too sweet for my tastes.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear amber with little initial white head that completely disappears. Aroma is biscuits, bready and faint honey like notes. Taste is bready, grassy, mildly bitter with some sweet honey notes. Overall not a bad addition of honey to an otherwise Unimpressive and easily forgettable beer.

Amber pour. Light bready malt aroma. Flavour is pretty light with almost candied malts, light sweetness. Easy.
