Poured a hazy amber color with big white head that settled to some spotted lacing. Aroma is a hint of yeast and some caramel and banana. Taste is slightly yeasty with sweet maltiness and some banana and spice. Not overly flavourful, but not too bland either. Decently balanced.

(Bottle) Purchased at the Penny Farthing in Oak Bay for $2. Pours a lofty white head with a very cloudy deep amber body. Nice presentation: opaque and darker than most Hefes. Nose of mild bananas balanced with a caramel malt base. The flavour is much the same, it hits on all the needed elements - strong enough to let the drinker know is not that lemony flavoured Summer drink at Steamworks yet a tad underpowered for the beer aficionado. Overall good.
