A Semi-Sweet cider with light carbonation. Never pasteurized or filtered. Has a nice blend of fruit flavors and acidity providing for a very drinkable cider.

16 ounce can I came back with from GTMW. Poured into an Oktoberfest liter dimpled mug, because why not? VERY clear and just a little yellow tint. No foam. This smells like apple juice with very soft malts. The semi sweet deScription is accurate. I am not a fan of ciders and this is a reason for not wanting to become one.

16 oz. can from Binnyís. Packaging on this seems too mainstream "Smith Forge-ish" for a craft cider. Letís see: Pours nice and fizzy, with no head after pouring, just a light yellow color with agreeable fizz. Smell has some nice apple juice character and alcohol note, but I also think thereís an edge of sulfides. Still, it has a straight-ahead apple cider taste, a little sweet, followed by a tart apple edge, and no chemical processing notes like so many megabrewed ciders.

can - Pours pale gold with a tart apple aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet, definitely on the dry side as hard ciders go. Itís a pleasant drink thatís refreshing and finishes dry.

16oz pour at The Piggery in Chicago. Totally clear, pale gold with zero head. Nose is fairly standard, apples, some mild lemon, lightly earthy. Flavor is the same, crisp, mild honey, a little pear, but mostly apples. Lightly slick, lightly spritzy finish. Solid.

16 oz. can from Pi Cincinnati. Pours a clear, bright yellow-gold with plenty of bubbles and a small white head that immediately dissipates. Aroma of sweet and faintly tart apple, a little bit of yeast, mellow spice, apple skin, and a hint of minerals. Flavor is pretty much the same. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, clean, sweet, refreshing mouthfeel. Finishes dry. Decent cider.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Spring Lake, MI). Pours a nice lively yellow hue, a mellow haziness with nice sunny glow, a touch of depth to it. Fizzy offwhite head atop as a mellow layer dies to a decent ring, ok lacing overall. Aromas are gentle sweet, red apple with touches of mellow spice, faint cinnamon, apple sweetness. Initial is lighter side of medium bodied, a touch of girth beneath with some fuzziness, yeast elements. Red apple sweetness meets a touch of tartness into the body. Red apple skin, touches of fleshy fresh harvested apples, a bit juicy. Backend is a bit yeasty, more dry but still with a bit of body. A perfectly serviceable standard product, a touch sweet for me but the backend and finish do some work to balance a bit. Touches of lingering apple juice, gentle yeastiness and fuzziness. For all the standard Ciders on the market, this does some work to balance a bit as opposed to being a sweet mess. Still think Red Streak is my go to from the Michigan family. Solid.
