Broeders is a fresh beer with a significant hop taste, named to the founders of vandeStreek beer. No, we aren’t monks - we are brothers.

Bottle. Very hoppy indeed, mostly on the citric and grassy side. Grainy sweet wheat texture, medium body, medium carbonation, dry. There is some maltyness to the taste that doesn’t quite match up with its hoppyness. Both are there and nice in their own way, but they don’t seem to work together here.

330 ml bottle in trade with Douberd, thanks man! Pours golden, hazy, with a nice tan head. Aromas of citrus, tangerine, some spiciness. Taste is somewhat different, more malt-forward, balanced, with yeast and bready malts up front, some spicy-earthy hops on the back. Refreshing really! Body is medium with medium0low carbonation. Not bad!

courtesy of Marcel Vogt - light hazy dark golden beer with a nice foam left; wheaty and light yeasty aroma, decently hoppy; medium-bodied, subtle carbonation and a long corny and light vegetable-like finish with hints of honey

A classy classic I would say. Some honey with thick hops in the back and that vanilla Background. Not a bad one for sure.

33cl Bottle at Kloek. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of soft wheat, some lemon, light floral. Flavour is likewise, not very outspoken, mellow wheat ale. Light bodied. OK.

Decent Wheat Ale which somehow hints towards an IPA-ish taste. A slight bitter in it’s aroma.
