2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. A haz amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat, barley, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, bread, barley, caramel, and citrusy hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Probably my first Dutch Pale Ale, which is defined by being a hoppy wheat ale, just so you know, I guess that calls for a new style, Oakes? Theis?

Medium sized sticky vast and slowly disappearing creamy white foamy head on top of a cloudy to almost clear beautiful darker orange colored beer.
Aromas of barley malts, cream, light butter, butterscotch, light flowers. Nice.
Flavours of barley malts, honey, light raisin, toast, yeast, bitters, autumnal herbs, leaves, light spices, light hop tints and some cream.
Aftertaste barley malts, bitters, leaves, light raisin, light wood and yeast.
Low carbo, soft creamy silky mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller body and a creamy light oily texture.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, Cafe Lombok. Golden orange pour, medium/thin white head. Certainly hoppy, nearly an IPA but a bit fresher; finishes nice and hoppy, but still thirst quenching. Really enjoyed.
