Compared with the regular Tusker, this is heavier, with more of a malt accent, but less flavour overall. Ok, but the lack of hop hurts it.

On tap at Grand Casino Port Vila. Rating from January 2014. At least it was cold, probably the best thing I can say about it.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2012 On tap (March 2012) Pale golden colour with medium head. Light and refreshing, with a mild hop finish and pleasant enough.

i had to drink this stuff for 16 months worth of fridays at the Anchor Inn on draft. its better than tusker lager and not as good as thier OP offering. allegedly they make a wheat and stout if you look on the side of thier cases but i never saw the goods. the crazy german brewer seems to be settling for a brew of the lowest quality. try seven seas brews if your going to vanuatu down at the waterfront...or give some of the local homebrews.

Upon arrival in Vanuatu I expected a somewhat unpleasant brew typicle of the Pacific Islands which would eventually become acceptable if enough was drank. However, I was surprised by the refreshing taste right from the start and enjoyed many more, both bottled and draught.

Hmmm... something weird is going on. My label said "Tusker Premium Lager" - I’ll enter it here but I’m not convinced. Gold, average head. Surprisingly nice toasty malt character, some fruit aroma, lightly tart with a mildly hoppy finish. Not much to it but it’s alright. I sure could think of worse things than drinking this on the beach in Vanuatu.

Bottled AIBA 2003: Not very nice to drink, light, adjuncty, and bland, but i wasn't expecting much anyway.
