Bottle, pours a decent head. Spicy aroma and flavour. The body is really solid and a really good offering. Enjoyed this one

Smell of lambic. Colour of the mud of Aura. Highly bitter and a bit sour. Smells also like apple cider, also the first taste resembles that.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy brown coloured with an comedial Belgian cartoon pig label. Taste of coriander, pepper and some other spices also hints of caramel. Like this from the "Steam Brewery".

A caremlized, sweet aroma from the start turns to a light sour followed by light bitters. Some cherry tone in there somewhere. A decent taste that runs through a full palette. Had a 330ml bottle from Castro’s Lounge, although they only have a few of these left.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 Bottle 75cl, a cloudy amber beer with huge head and good lacing. Nose is caramel like and sweet. Aroma is caramel like, malty, burnt notes, quite hopy, berries notes, bitter fruit latency. Pleasant beer, the 9° are quite hidden, typical belgian yeast notes, some carared malt hints too, green apple.

75cl bottle from Belgian Beer Station. Bottle only capped, no cork. Didn’t expect it but bottle opened with a loud pop and the beer sprayed out of the bottle. Never seen this before. Stored it upright for a couple of weeks though. Pitty for the lost beer (although the dog licked a bit off the floor; seemed to like it a lot). I had to clean the living room though (at 00:30 AM !!!) Beer is hazy amber with an off white noisy head leaving lots of lace on the glass. The aroma is very fruity and fresh but also yeasty and funky. The taste is tart and fruity evolving to a yeasty side with a pretty bitter, dry and grainy finish. The beer has got a medium body with little carbonation. The 9% ABV does its work very well. Overall an original beer with lots of character. I hope that the next bottle won’t be such a gusher.

Pours medium brown. Nose is sherry, toffee and slight sour. First sip is nice balance of spice which goes a tangy tart flavors. Finish is port like.
